Commercial Club Launch Breeding Heifer Championships.

Plans are in full swing for the 2012 Breeding Heifer Championships organised annually by the NI Commercial Cattle Exhibitors Club. This competition is now in its fourth year and is one of the most hotly contended events in the Commercial calender. The Ulster Bank have confirmed their sponsorship for this Championship which will attract the very finest commercial heifers of breeding age throughout the show season.  More >>

Commercial cattle are one of the most popular sections at local events, and their show season kicks off at Balmoral this week.

Donald Mac Pherson, Berwick will take to the cattle lawns at 10.30am on Thursday to place the entry representing and a warm welcome is extended to come and watch the hotly contended championships. The 2012 show will see the commercials feature in the Interbreed Pairs and Groups for the first time. These Championships will take place on the cattle lawns shortly after the commercial classes have concluded.
